Grand Master Yong Mok Lee has over 50 years Taekwondo experience. He currently holds an 8th Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo, a 7th Degree Black Belt in Hapkido (self defense) and a 5th Degree in Hwai-Bup & Physical Therapy (Korea). Grand Master Lee is also a finger pressure therapist and Acupuncturist (Korea).

    Grand Master Lee possesses extensive special training and experience in Taekwondo and other military related activities.
    Some of his most notable accomplishments are as follows:
  • 15+ years coaching Junior School Olympic Team
  • 5 years Military Army instructor (Korea)
  • 3 years Special Army Demo Team Director & Coach (Korea)
  • R.O.T.C. Army College Teacher (Korea)
  • International Taekwondo Referee
  • President, Korean American Taekwondo Union of IL
  • President, Korean Taekwondo Association for United States
  • President and Founder of Korean American Culture Sports Foundation
  • President and Founder of National Taekwondo Charity Foundation
  • Consortium of local area Taekwondo facilities dedicated to raising money for their respective communities under the leadership and guidance of Grand Master Lee
  • Secretary General, Korean Sports Council in U.S.A. (4 yrs.)

Grand Master Lee has dedicated his life to training and preparing people in the Martial Art of Taekwondo, but some of his most rewarding work has been helping those in need in the community. Grand Master Lee is the recipient of the Presidents Call to Service award, presented to him for his 4000+ hours of community service. Grand Master Lee has had a strong community presence in the Round Lake Beach area for over 16 tears. He has an established history of community support and involvement with outreach programs:
  • Hosts Annual Turkey Drive to local food pantries
  • Last year’s contribution = 150 turkeys / 50 hams
